Where's a sugar daddy when you need one?

According to Toy Biz, this is the projected 2004 line-up of their LotR action figures. Now, a lot of them sound like repacks, and there's a very good chance not all of these characters will be made in the end, but even taking that into account, there are a lot of figures on this list that I really, really want. I need to be rich. No two ways about it.

How does the Wormtongue figure look? I've never been able to find it in real life, and none of the pictures I've seen have been good enough to help me stop wavering on whether or not to get one.

I never got a chance to see Kill Bill, which is annoying, and now the DVD and Part 2 have been pushed back, so I have to wait even longer. Hmph.

He's not pretty, because, well, he's Wormtongue, but the figure is nicely detailed, and comes with a bunch of accessories (knives; he also has stabbing action, but unfortunately the coolest knife doesn't stay in his hand -- I keep it in place with one of the elastics that came in the packaging) he never got a chance to use in the movies. And a handkerchief. The eyes are blue, the eyebrows are absent, and he's perpetually hunched. It's a good figure, but not one to pay a fortune on.

I was positively giddy to see Gil-Galad on the list. He's one of my favorite bit characters in the story, and I loved the character design for him in the whole, what, 30 seconds he was in the movie. Plus he'd give my Elrond someone to hang out with other than his daughter, her herd of Aragorns, and Boromir. Poor AF Elrond is lonely.

That's the other figure that made me giddy. Yaaay! Another Boromir! I don't know why his horn is cloven if he's in armor, but I don't care! Another Boromir! Whee!

Huh, I didn't notice that. You're right, that's a bit odd. He should come with a banner with the White Tree on it or something. Now I'm going to have to choose which Boromir to get (will probably only get one, as I have *no* place to put the things).

Hee. I bet she'll like that :) I've got a sister and a brother, but I doubt I'd get much for them. Heh.
