You are a Folkie. Good for you.
What kind of Sixties Person are you?

True enough, but I'm posting it mostly because I like the picture of Phil Ochs. I have a weakness for Phil Ochs. Brilliantly talented and fatally unstable, Phil Ochs was and is one of the essential protest singers. It's a little disturbing how many of his anti-war, anti-racism, anti-ignorance, anti-abuse-of-governmental-powers songs aren't dated nearly forty years later.
Gee, that's a cheerful note to sleep on. Um, Happy New Year anyway. May it be a better one than the last.

Date: 2004-01-03 02:45 am (UTC)I hope your new year is off to a good start! And that vacation has been fun- you're probably going back to work soon, right? Hopefully the kids will be good now that Christmas is out of their systems. :)

Date: 2004-01-05 03:03 am (UTC)So far my new year has been pretty good. Uneventful, really :) But yeah, I go back to work on Tuesday. Can't say I'm exactly looking forward to it, but the first week will probably be absurdly easy, and it'll be nice to be back on a regular schedule again.
Hopefully the kids will be good now that Christmas is out of their systems. :)
Oh yes, a resounding amen to that!
