There was a thing, and another thing, and something that could have become a thing but didn't, and it was all very tiring and annoying, but that's the way the cookie crumbles, right? Anyway, hello LJ, I've missed you! hugs computer and friendslist and cats and random strangers because life's more fun when you're scaring the neighbors... The most important thing I have to say, albeit two days late (figures that I managed to miss it in the end anyway, eh?), is:
Happy Birthday,
castalianspring!
For you, I wish that the ankle-biters at school would dull their pointy little teeth (and that goes for any difficult coworkers as well), that your voice should always be true and your audiences appreciative, that those around you should recognize your worth, that your seas should be smooth and the winds in your favor, and that some nice, philanthropic rich person should meet you one day and think, "Gee, what a nice person. I think I'll give her all those lovely cannons I've been collecting all these years." That last one especially. ;)
Now I really have to type up my thoughts on M&C (which I finally saw yesterday) so I can go read everyone else's. I read Castalia's first post for the reassurance that it hadn't all gone horribly, horribly wrong, but then I forced myself not to read anymore, and it's killing me. I'm not really self-denial girl, here. And then comments, and Joan posts ("Bringeth It On" has been half-done for a week, argh), and... good god, today's episode of Chilly Beach is called "Lord of the Ringettes." Okay, that first, then typing.
