What on earth was that whole scene where Sam questioned Jack for sending her to Palm Springs about?

Yeah. It was just wrong for BOTH characters to react like that, given how we've seen them to date. Someone needs to give him some kind of management refresher course. Under the circumstances, I'd cut Sam more slack than him -- he should know better. She at least has post trauma and post shooting problems to deal with and is emotionally a bit of a mess.
