And coming from the Hollywood side of the force, I want to be nasty and tell them to fire the hairdresser and get someone who has at least some knowledge of FBI conservative dressing. Danny's hair was simply wrong for a Feebee, and while Martin's is growing out, it still makes me twitch.
Yes, yes, yes. I totally agree. If Danny were going undercover in a club, maybe the hair would be okay, but otherwise it doesn't work. And Martin's getting to the goofy stage now. These days Viv is the only one who looks like a fed, perhaps because we're not supposed to find her attractive. Stupid Hollywood.
And yes, on the Jack/Sam scene. It made me squick. The behavior is just WRONG for a relationship between former lovers, one married. I mean if he's doing the whole "conflicted" thing, it works, but it's not right for where they seemed to be heading. *sigh*
It annoys me terribly that TPTB feel the need to treat their characters like this. What on earth was that whole scene where Sam questioned Jack for sending her to Palm Springs about? If she can't differentiate between being sent on a case and being sent away from him, there's a problem. Those two should be split up- their entanglement is starting to encroach on their job (with Sam especially, but she's a mountain of issues at the moment, poor kid), and unless they knock it off right now (grr!), someone could get hurt. And the fact that at this point I want that someone to be Jack and/or Sam (but more Jack, I think) is probably not a good thing.
