What?

TV shows that have not been released on Region 1 DVD, and don't seem to be on the docket any time soon:

Brimstone, The Magnificent Seven, The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., The Invisible Man, Now and Again, American Gothic, Cupid, The Tick (animated version), Early Edition, Moonlighting, Remington Steele, Beauty and the Beast, China Beach, thirtysomething, Gilmore Girls, Roswell, Lois and Clark, The Pretender, Nothing Sacred, Picket Fences, Northern Exposure, North of 60, The Wire, Freaks and Geeks, Millenium, The Wonder Years, St. Elsewhere, Hill Street Blues, Fraggle Rock, The Wild Wild West, The Man from UNCLE, The Chris Isaak Show, The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne, Robin of Sherwood, NewsRadio, The Cosby Show, It's Garry Shandling's Show, Starksy and Hutch, Witchblade, Maverick, Max Headroom, Dalziel and Pascoe, Wonder Woman, Quantum Leap, I'll Fly Away, and many more.

TV show that will be released on Region 1 DVD as of November 18th:

My Big Fat Greek Life.

What? I mean... what?

Sometimes I just love Dalton Ross: "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS, TV-14-LV) Grissom finally has some suspects in his serial killers case! Except... they're dead, which kinda rules them out as suspects. Unless, of course, they're zombies! Which totally puts them back in play." I really want to see Grissom vs. Zombies now. Maybe he'd raise both eyebrows! Woo hoo!

The more I think about Nick's plotline from Thursday's ep, and the other characters' reactions, the more annoyed I get. Grrrr...

Mission: Impossible. I only want the Landau/Bain years! *sobs*

Yeah, that one too! Otherwise I'll never get to see it, and I hate missing out.

It's very sad, isn't it, especially when you see shows still in first run production with long and healthy syndication runs in their future, like Alias, already coming out on DVD. But I cling to hope! They're at least talking about it for MFU, and the first season of Crime Story is coming out on DVD in November! Now, if somebody wants to make my decade, we'll see Mag7 in DVD.

I can almost see a first-run show being released if it's something that has very strong reviews (and money behind it), but not amazing ratings, if that's what TPTB are shooting for, like 24 in its first season. It still bugs me, though, because there are such wonderful shows that aren't currently on the air languishing in limbo (and besides, it's never my first-run shows that are released *g*). I really hope we do get to see MFU (and Mag7) soon, though. I mean, if Arli$$ is available...

What the hell? Who's gonna buy that on DVD, I ask you. Stupid blighters.

Now your list, that I like. There are so many things on that list I'd buy if they were available.

Seriously, no one watched that show when it was on for free. Who's going to buy it? Darn execs, depriving us of DVDs of good shows while releasing lame ones...
