quiz nicked from [livejournal.com profile] applecameron, who has written Captain Blood fic and is therefore very cool:

The Good Karma Pirate
You are the greatest pirate of all creativedom.
You are the Good Karma pirate. Pirates, you may
say, have not any good karma, but you can see
in this one's eyes that he values the idea of
it.

Are you a Pirate?
brought to you by Quizilla

"The greatest pirate of all creativedom," huh? Neat. So how is it I turn out more bloodthirsty when the quiz is something like "Which farm animal are you?" than when it's about pirates? I'm the Hippy-Dippy Pirate Queen.

But look at the other results. Caribbean is spelled wrong on two of them! On the graphics for the Captain Blood and PotC-ride results, so it can't even be edited. sigh. One R. Two Bs.

You are Captain Blood! A gallant and gentlemanly
pirate, your quest is for a higher goal than
treaure and victory in battle. You have
accomplished much and are destined for much
more. Grand work of it, lad.

Cool! I'm Cap'n Blood *bg*

Much annoyance about the misspellings, though. I hate that.

Aw darn... I got that geeky Karma Pirate too. I've heard of Karma Police and Karma chameleons, but this one takes the karma cake.

Seriously, who ever heard of a pirate caring about his karma? Wouldn't the pillaging and murdering and rampant debauchery tend to put a pirate's karma solidly in the "bad" column? But then maybe that's why they drink all that rum, to drown out the knowledge that they'll never reach nirvana. Assuming there are any Buddhist pirates to begin with... ;)

(And thanks, now I have Culture Club in my head. Yikes.)
