A Théoden statue! Would it be unbearably geeky to say I really, really want that? He looks like he's singing grand opera, but that's good. He's a dramatic kind of guy.

My Théoden love is vast. It truly needs an expensive tchochke to be fully expressed. That little gold-digging plan is looking better and better.

(In other news, I finally learned how to code the accent mark in "Théoden"! Yay! It's deeply sad how proud of myself I am for that.)

ETA: Ooh, Blackbeard! Very nice job on the clothes and weaponry (and his sword has blood on it. Gosh. How detailed). Yup, looks like gold-digging is the only solution.

And edited again to fix the Blackbeard link. sigh

In case you haven't been to TORN lately: He's not singing grand opera (http://www.theonering.net/scrapbook/group/912/view/7734) but you can't have everything.

Ooh, lovely, thank you! That costume is gorgeous- as much as I love his armor, the detailing on that tunic is even more impressive. Poor Théoden. He's so tragic. RotK is going to be really stressful for me, I think.

Wow, the Théoden statue looks marvelous. The detail!

I really really want to see the Blackbeard statue now, but the link leads back to the same Théoden statue.

Ooh, squee! He's so cool! I just love the layered look he's got going on, what with shirt, waistcoat, and overcoat and the colors. They did a great job with the beard, too. All he needs is fuses poking out from under his hat :)

No, no he really doesn't. Because then I would absolutely have to buy him instead of just being horribly tempted, and I can't justify spending $50 on a toy. Well, I could, but I shouldn't.

No willpower, not one bit. *g*

Rotfl. Good thing, then. There are some things that a fan just can't resist.

*cries* Something else to covet. You are absolutely not good for me. ^_^ (I've been coveting their Boromir statue for ages now. *sigh* Still haven't caved, though. Am terribly worried in the face of the Theoden statue I'll fall hard. I *so* can't afford this. *sobs dramatically*)

Heh heh, oops!

Would it be at all surprising if I said the Boromir statue is the other one I've been coveting? Yeah, I didn't think so. I can't justify getting either of them, I really can't... but I so want to.

I know exactly what you mean. As it is, I'm still waffling over the Fellowship figure set, and there's the first RotK poster, which I *have* to purchase, no two ways about it. Argh!
