Imagine, if you will, a woman merrily typing away at her computer.

Joan: "La la la type type type... Hey, this isn't going too badly..."

Computer: "Mwa ha ha!" It crashes. Emphatically.

stunned silence from the woman...time passes

Joan: "Well. Huh. How 'bout that. All gone. Probably should have been saving more often, too. Heck with it, I'm going to watch TV."

So, no Beowulf-babble today. Though in happier news, Eddie Izzard never gets any less funny, no matter how many times one has seen a particular show. "Emperor Fabulous and his son, Fabulous the Second"? Marry me, Eddie.

Hmm, mine did that today when I was typing improv-fic (which is now Gone, Gone, all Gone)
Someone who didn't like the pairing might have put a hex on it, I suppose ...

Computers are cruel beasts. They know how important they are these days, and it gives them ideas. Wicked, improv-fic-killing ideas. (you have all my sympathy about that, btw. It's bad enough when it's something that can be reconstructed. But improvs can be so ephemeral before they're set down.)
