It's criminal that Holiday and Bringing Up Baby aren't available on DVD. Just criminal. Come on, Hollywood, Ms. Hepburn deserves better. And if you haven't see Holiday, you should (I tend to assume everyone in a civilized society has seen Bringing Up Baby)- my beloved Kate is wonderful as usual, as is the ever-charming Cary Grant, and I have a slightly embarrassing crush on Lew Ayers as Ned (he's so cynical and lost, poor dear). It's always been one of my favorites, and it and Bringing Up Baby both deserve the snazzy Criterion DVD release with all the trimmings. Hop to it, Hollywood!

I got sucked into watching some vegan cooking show this morning, mostly because the host had very nice hair and sounded like Lauren Graham. But then she made biscotti with (alongside the normal ingredients) toasted hemp seed, hemp oil, brown rice syrup, and a mix of soy and rice milk. I don't think I'd be a very good vegan, because instead of thinking, "How resourceful! I should try that!", I kept thinking "Ewwww. Biscotti abuse!" Pity, she really did have nice hair.

Sirius/Remus - Friends to lovers...
You are... Sirius/Remus!
Friends to lovers, could it get any better? You
certainly don't think so. When you think about
the Marauder era you certainly don't think
about maps and Quidditch, you're too busy
dreaming of heated snogs in the Astronomy Tower
and mind-blowing shags in the Gryffindor dorms.
Yours is a pairing that truly deserves the
title of 'slash', good on you

Not really surprising, since it's the only HP pairing I care about.

I think my favorite of her movies is, "The Philadelphia Story." And yes, it is surprising those other two aren't yet on DVD.

Thanks for the quizes. I'm ... amused by the responses I obtained. :-)

"The Philadelphia Story" is wonderful. I have a weakness for Cary Grant too, so both of them together is just about perfect. Plus she wears some great clothes in that one, which is always a plus (I'm a huge costuming geek).
