I'm tired, sick and punchy as heck. Consequently, I'm on yet another random hunt, this time for online comics featuring Cthulhu. So far I have four:
The long-defunct Gods Playing Poker,
The not-exactly-a-comic Tales of the Plush Cthulhu,
The unsettlingly adorable Misadventures of Hello Cthulhu,
And my current favorite, the Unspeakable Vault (of Doom). UV(oD) gets bonus points for including the Hounds of Tindalos. I first read Frank Belknap Long's story when I was about twelve, and it scared the bejeezus out of me. Stop laughing, I'm serious. Creepy nightmares for weeks. Out of everything I've read by Lovecraft and his cronies, only "The Colour out of Space" ever creeped me out quite so strongly as those blasted Hounds. Which just goes to show that reality-warping, people-eating Elder Gods can't hold a candle to the terrors of geometry.
So does anyone know of any other comics featuring Cthulhu and friends?
(I'm using my RGB icon in honor of one of my favorite episodes, "The Collect Call Of Cathulhu." Hilarious, clever and highly quotable ep- how could I not love something that includes the line, "Anything that looks like Godzilla wearing an octopus hat shouldn't be hard to find"? Sadly, it's not one of the ones I have on tape. Alas.
