River/Kaylee. It could happen, true, but not for many, many seasons, unless TPTB pulled a Fred and decided "okay, the crazy-and-traumatized thing is getting old, so bam! She's healed!"

Shiny and gorram. I wish I could learn some of the Chinese profanity, though. It'd come in handy.

What storyline you wanna see happen, ya know when the show is de-cancelled
Book, Book, Book. I also want to know the source of that inner pain that Inara can't entirely bury, and what happens when the Tams see their parents again. But mostly Book.

Simon. I love them all (even Book), but Simon.

Hey, those two are high on my permanent rec list- I've even used them to get people to watch the show instead of vice versa ("Read this! Good, huh? Now don't you want to see where these great characters come from?"). I often rec the "Wolf's Way" series to people too, but those stories tend to be a bit less... general audience, yeah? So I save those for my kinky friends. ;)

Anyway, I think they're Firefly classics. Desert island fics, for sure. Yay kirby! Hee!
