A handful of days back, I decided to take a brief hiatus from reading Aragorn/Boromir fic (and by extension Viggo/Sean, Alec/James, etc. etc. etc.), because I've been tired and germy and it tends to be one of my most angst-prone favorite pairings. I was just too tired to be crying at the computer, you know? Besides, all the wonderful new fic would still be there when I went back to it, and would probably be even more appealing to me after my deprivation.

And what have I been reading instead? Angel/Wesley.

Yeah, good plan. I'm dumb.

Aaaand... I'm on my way to see X2! Finally! I didn't mean to put it off so long, because Matrix Reloaded opens soon (eeeeee!) and that'll make it tough to see X2 more than once, but I'm not complaining. I might be all "rah rah indie comics!" now, but the X-Men were my first love, and Nightcrawler, Mystique and Magneto have always been in my top 5 faves (though Gambit trumps them all). Everyone I know has liked it, so fingers crossed that I do too.

Of course I got Simon/Mal. That's a no-brainer. But by changing two answers to my second choices (flipping a coin, really), I got Zoe/Wash and they're so great that I have to post them too.
