Help me, flist, you're my only hope!

Would anyone be able to tape tonight's House (on Fox or Global at 9) for me? My reception on Global is even worse than usual today, thanks to the weather (though it's rarely good- watching this show is a game of "guess which fuzzy talking blob is Hugh Laurie"), and tonight's episode has nuns. Nuns! I love nuns! They're my people! Um, sort of. Academically speaking. Anyway, if anyone could help me out, I'd be eternally grateful (and will pay, give cookies, offer sacrifices, whatever). Please and thank you!

Speaking of nuns, one of my Chanukah presents was this year's "Nuns Having Fun" calendar, a slightly odd choice for a Chanukah gift perhaps, but I'm certainly not complaining. It's so cute! It's all black and white photos from the '50s and '60s of nuns, in full habit, of course, all ice skating, bowling, riding around in speed boats, playing tug-of-war, and that sort of thing. Definitely my type of calendar. Heh.

And call me biased, but it seems practically criminal that the soundtracks for the first three Muppet movies have been out of print all these years. Actually, I think the Brian Henson movie soundtracks are OOP by now, too. That is just not right. Won't someone please think of the children? How can we expect them to become functioning members of society if they don't know all the words to "Movin' Right Along" (even if they don't get all the puns), "Can You Picture That?" or "Together Again"? Truly, it is a tragedy.

Gaaah! How can the Muppet Movie soundtrack be OOP? It's a classic.

It is! And it's just weird and wrong that it's not available, and that people who want it are stuck paying lunatic prices at eBay or illegally downloading or beating up little old ladies or such unsavory means of procurement. ;) All I can figure is that it's part of the "owned by Disney effect," and hope that they get cycled back into circulation at some point soon. Very soon. I need new copies!

Special edition DVDs of the movies would be good, too. The current prints need remastering at the very least. I don't want the Muppets to get eaten up by time and poor treatment. That would be a tragedy.
