I swear, Hollywood is so ridiculous. One thing works and they think that copying it ad nauseum is going to work, too. Despite the fact that, you know, most of the time they're wrong. A Cinema guy I know was talking about The Passion the other day and he simulated a conversation that was going on in the exec suites of the studios: "The Passion made how much?! Get me a Jesus movie!"
And let's not even start on balance. I don't think the writers have ever encountered the concept. though, with Hollywood, that's not exactly surprising...
