I've been a reader of your LJ for quite a while, though I only just thought to friend you (I'm not all that organized). Your current project of analysis of the LotR EEs is very interesting, and I've been hoping for a while that someone would chart Sam's use of "Frodo" vs. "Mr. Frodo," so thanks!
Yay! I'm glad that it's helpful for someone.
Do you think so? It just sounded like regular Andy-voice to me, until he saw the Ring. I really do need to see it again. ITA on his laugh, though. Yikes.
When he shouts Deagol's name, his voice sounds more normal, but until then, it's all weird. Hmm. Maybe I just haven't heard Andy's voice enough. In which case, I kinda want to apologise for calling it weird.
though since Legolas is obviously just showing off for his dwarf, I can forgive that whole silly sequence
He really is, yes. As I'm rewatching TT, I'm noticing just how much attention Legolas is paying to Gimli. He'ssoinlove.
