Joan in brief

Adam called her Joan.
This episode addressed, or at least mentioned, about three-quarters of the themes and subjects I've been watching for (some of which I've posted about already)- Will's identity, Helen's willpower, Luke's inability to be heard, the massive doses of thorazine... It was all there. This was an amazing episode to go into the post-sweeps hiatus on (unlike CSI and WaT's efforts). I cried when the history teacher looked so amazed that he'd gotten Joan interested in history despite his burn-out, when Joan told Will that he's the best person she knows, when Adam called her Joan... when Adam called her Joan. I've been waiting for that, and it hurt even more than I expected.
All of this plus Joan of Arc!
I love this show.
