Yes, I'm originally from the heart of suburbia, born and raised in Westchester Co. (Mount Kisco, to be exact, two towns north of Sean Maher's hometown of Pleasantville!) But we've been residents of the lovely Mohawk Valley for over 20 years now (after a brief stint on the prairies on North Dakota).
