I can't decide if he's growing up and settling down, or if he's doing too much and burning out (I hope for the former rather than the latter, of course)

It's my theory that this is the direct influence of a serious, committed relationship with Nick. These things tend to have a calming influence, particularly when one is sleeping with such a stable, down-to-earth guy. So yay for the subtext even though they didn't have a single scene together last night.
