Adam was very cute, even though he had about two lines.

Oh, I so liked Adam last week! And he and Joan had great chemistry. I want the writers to give him more to do!

I commented on that very same passive-aggressive moment in Hebrew school a billion years ago and got in trouble. Kudos to Joan for getting away with it.

Awww. But somebody on the staff obviously knows their Bible. It makes me wonder what kind of advisers they have. Because the show's not an apologist for Catholicism, which is a nice, refreshing change of pace. And they're even making fun of the religion. Makes me wonder what the advisers think of all this.

Chess!God reminded me of Giles in his wise, comforting patriarch mode. I really wish we'd see him again, but I doubt we will.

And he was played by John Marshall Jones, whom I adore. Ah, it makes me miss John Doe. Anyway, yes, I agree with you. Even if teen!God is still my favorite, chess!God managed to be inspiring and comforting while still maintaining a low-key demeanor. Very nicely done.

Please, please, please let the ratings stay good...

Hopefully, I'm not, you know, jinxing the show, but I think this show's here to stay. Did you ntoice how NBC purposefully moved Miss Match so it wasn't opposite Joan anymore? And the ratings are wonderful, especially for a show on Friday. It's somewhat of a relief, actually.
