It's just not worth it.

I wake up with Martian Death Flu, am utterly miserable all day, finally drag myself out of bed to get tea and reassure the cats that I'm not actually dead, and find that Warren Zevon has passed away and Dougie Gilmour has retired.

What a lousy day. I'm going back to bed. See ya'll tomorrow.

Oh good, at least you have a little breathing space. Or napping space. That really does help, I think. I remember some study a couple of years ago that said most Americans are permanently over-tired, which is why we're prone to things like fun mystery diseases and road rage and Jeepers Creepers 2. Makes sense to me.

Martian Death Flu, well, it goes. I'm still not sure where I got it, actually. I don't know any other sick people right now (other than you, oh emailed-virusy one *g*). It's like I caught something from the tomato plants or some old magazines or something. Very irritating.

I believe it. I think I'm also perpetually dehydrated as well, so it's a wonder I don't get sick more often.

Ooh, weird mystery virus of unknown origin. It sucks that any passing person could've given this to you, with only a tiny amount of contact or proximity. I hope it doesn't last too long.
