personally I think everyone in the lab is on to Nick and Greg, they're just too blind to realize it.

Heh, I like that much more. Denial is our friend. Archie has shiny powers that melt my brain, so having him and Nick and Greg all in the same scene is just not healthy.

And the best part is that the subtlety of that scene speaks volumes about Eric Close's range. I honestly don't think he's gotten parts that challenge him enough to really show what he can do; I'm glad they're giving him a little of that on WaT.

I really agree with that. As an actor, EC is generally very still, very quiet. Little things like quick changes of expression and aborted gestures tend to jump out at me, because that stillness means I end up watching him very closely (and then when Martin does something big, like yelling at Danny, I flinch hard. It's such a rare occurence). This is a great episode (and a great show in general) for EC, acting-wise, but character-wise I just wanted to make it all better again for Martin. He's attacked from all sides at once, poor guy.
