Oh, honey, I am so there with you! I saw the film three times in the theatre and shamelessly cried my freaking eyes out every viewing. And I'm also right there with you on the not-getting of Leonardo diCappuccino's appeal, and the vast appeal of Billy Zane's scenery-eating goodness. I, too, love the scene where Mr. Andrews adjusts the clock as his beloved ship falls apart around him. In fact, it's the secondary characters and bit roles that truly make the movie for me.
