This is why I'm relying on friends' rec pages to find good PotC fic. It's hell trying to sift through the LJ communities, not to mention the even scarier mailing lists *shudder*

I haven't dared go near the mailing lists. If LJ is this scary, what must they be like? And it takes me forever to translate that netspeak stuff into English. Yeah, thank goodness for rec pages.

Ah, you mean all the "OMG ur so kewl! CU l8r!" stuff? Yeah, that's annoying. I don't mind acronyms, but geez, moderation, people!

Of course, I'm also having trouble keeping up with [livejournal.com profile] pirategasm. So much volume, when it comes to posts.
