Heigh ho, this is Kermit the Frog...
Oct. 1st, 2004 02:30 pm... alas, no, it's just me. And I'm not here, still. I meant to be, but... Oy, what a week. I had no clue it was even Friday until the mail came and with it my Entertainment Weekly. I was very, very confused there for a bit. And I've been in a foul mood anyway, so it's just as well I haven't been able to inflict it on you guys. Who needs that? But anyway, I'm just running by to drop off a link to a short article on Joan of Arcadia (good thing I figured out what day it was before tonight, no?): Channeling God- no spoilers, quotes from a couple of ministers on either side of the "should God be shown in human form?" issue. Slightly odd choice for an article subject, IMO, since it's a done deal at this late date, but then I never got the "should the voice of God sound like a woman or a child as well as a man?" issue when Prince of Egypt was in production, either, so whatever (if you skipped that flick, the "nay"s won and God sounds like Val Kilmer. Somewhat terrifying, that.)
Also, while I'm (not) here, can anyone recommend any good fiction about or involving baseball, other than The Dreyfus Affair and W.P. Kinsella? Please and thank you!
