I am so, so tired of rain (though not as tired as the good people of Peterborough are, I bet. Boy am I glad I'm not in Toronto anymore). Seriously, it's been raining at least every other day since the beginning of June. New York is not supposed to have a rainy season. Argh. My lawn has trout. And leeches. And since the rain usually brings its good friends Thunder and Lightning along for the visit, I've gotten really quick at running around unplugging all of the electronics. Except for that one time I forgot the answering machine… Never heard one pop before. Pretty neat (in an "oh, hell!" kind of way). At least they're cheap these days.
I tried to answer comments only to see them disappear into the ether, but with luck they'll arrive mysteriously at some future time. Or I'll try again tomorrow, whatever. Moral is, don't try to be organized. It just doesn’t pay.
Why was I even signed in... oh, right! I have a question for anyone who saw the premiere of Atlantis yesterday. I didn't get to see it, of course, but I saw roughly a kajillion commercials for it while I was visiting my sister last week, and I kept seeing Siler lurking happily behind all those new folks. He didn't go with them, did he? Not that I have anything against the new show, but that would be Very Bad. Who would help Sam play with her motorcycle? Who would keep Chevron Guy Davis company? Nope, Siler has to stay in this galaxy, that's all there is to it. He does, right? Please?
One last thing, since I hear thunder again (gasp! Thunder! How rare! sigh.)- William Petersen comments on George and Jorja. Indeed.
