A variety of shiny things
Jan. 23rd, 2004 02:51 amHere's a very short article on Joan of Arcadia (no spoilers). General show praise, Barbara Hall talks briefly about Will and the police plots (and there's the smidgiest smidge of long-term spec, but not from Hall), and Amber has a cute anecdote about meeting a fan.
And here's a (slightly fuzzy) preview of the eventually forthcoming Willow action figures in their packaging, with accessories. Call me kinky, but giving Vamp Willow and Dopplegangland Willow whips is a pretty good way to tempt me. I'd still rather have Tara, Anya and the second AtS line, though.
From an old, old Entertainment Geekly, a quote from an article on Max Headroom:
Note the year I said it all began - 1984. I don't know if you remember 1984, I don't even know if you remember the book, but suffice to say that at that time Western society's behaviour could be summed up as such:
"Oh my God, it's like a total nightmare! Look, they have video cameras everywhere! It's like Big Brother, maaan. They're going to -- oh look, Ghostbusters. I hear that's a really good movie. What, it's 1985 already? Bloody hell, I never did get around to reading that book by whatsisname, Orson Welles."
I have nothing to say about tonight's CSI and WaT repeats, except that Nick and Greg are sweet twits in love, Archie is both cute and sexy (traits not always found together), Nameless Tech Guy had two lines but then Other Tech Guy stole his close-up, Viv is awesome, as is Poppy (but not Sam), and I miss the days when Danny and Martin had good hair and were allowed to have scenes together. I miss those days a lot.
