I'm splitting my JoA comments into two parts this time, since I want to ramble about the Helen plot a bit, and it seems a little odd to do that at the same time I'm doing my standard Adam'n'Grace cheering. So this is the non-Helen half.

More *Master and Commander* Music Stuff

Here's another review of the M&C score, this one from Soundtrack Express, and it's a much more positive take on it that the Filmtracks review. Interestingly, the SE reviewer's comments themselves on the score are a lot like the Filmtracks reviewer's, but it seems like his expectations were different enough (or his familiarity with O'Brian greater, I don't know) to add those extra stars to his review.

Slightly more exciting is the official page at Decca Music, which has four excerpts from the album (download faster!), some interesting notes on the score, and a couple of pictures of Stephen. At last!
