Useless nattering...
Jun. 1st, 2003 02:57 pmHuh. I had no idea that Sian Phillips was once married to Robin Sachs, back when he was pretty and decadent-looking and very much her junior (go Sian!). I can't picture it somehow. Now, Sian and Peter O'Toole, sure, that's easy. They must have been one hell of a couple back in the day. But Sian and Robin Sachs, hm. Neat! I definitely have to get her new autobiography. Actors are such fun.
Obviously, today is my day for deep thinking. In my defense, I spent yesterday fighting a fever and my brain is a bit fried still. I'm sticking to simple concepts today: computer evil, New York Times messy, Sleepy Hollow pretty. I have a couple of new cookbooks to read and my mother, an infinitely talented woman, has provided me with a 50's-era sandwich press that makes grilled cheeses look like little flying saucers. It's a good life.
