Congrats on the Canadian channels. I have cable, but can't do satellite dish since my apartment faces NW and I have a large silver dollar eucalyptus tree south of my patio, so there's no way to get a clear line to either of the major satellites.
Cool on the school. I've been to Rochester, NY, but that's the only place back there I've been. Loved the frozen custard, and the lilacs. I've got cousins there and my grandmother used to live there.
For me, I've lived in Southern California, Washington State, California, and now Arizona. Been other places, but always lived west of the Rockies. I joke that I get twitchy the moment I cross them, and it really isn't pretty if I have to go east of the Mississippi. Then again, I almost took a job in Maryland once.
