"Fox Box"? They can't be serious, surely. That's just awful.
Grad school was Canada, actually (Toronto). College was eastern MA. But I grew up in, and have just moved back to, a wee town about about halfway between the Adirondacks and the St. Lawrence River, in St. Lawrence County (very, very big- size of Delaware, in fact- but not many people). So, Northern New York, about 1 1/2 hours south of Ottawa and 2 hours north of Syracuse. The town where Viggo Mortensen went to high school (Watertown) and the one where the owners of Funny Cide live (Sackets Harbor) are both about 45 mins south.
Plus, since I live outside of town, I can't get cable (I could get a dish, but only if I lost some trees) and the only US channels I get are CBS and PBS. Good thing I get some Canadian channels, at least.
