Blows the dust off this comment (sorry!)

It cheapens her, that's exactly it. And I'd like to think she's better at her job than that. It just seemed like a shallow and lazy reading of the scene for the authors to support, when a little analysis might have added some interesting dimensions to their arguments. Not that either essay was a fave of mine to begin with- I liked whatsherbucket's, the sex therapist's, more than Nancy Holder's, but neither was high on my list. Thank goodness for the funny essays!
