Re: John Barry. He's been mostly retired since the late '90s- early '00s, though he was originally attached to The Incredibles (I've read differing accounts of how much of the score was going to be his). Sadly, he didn't contribute to it in the end, though Michael Giacchino's score is very Barry-esque.
