I loved Infinity. Such a wonderful little movie.

Hear, hear re: the ragtime/The Sting rant. (I need to rent that; 's been ages since I saw it.) People drive me insane when they don't catch on to obvious things like that and yet still pretend to have any sort of credibility to critique the subject that they're complaining about.

Something similar drove me nuts when Moulin Rouge came out, with all the idiotic comments about the music being wrong for the time period. If said idiots had any clue about the history of musicals and musical theater, they'd have known that very rarely is the music used for a show appropriate for the time; they almost always use music from when the musical was written, not music from the time period when it takes place. But expecting them to know that would be akin to expecting to actually, oh, I don't know, know something about the subject they're purporting to hold forth on. Geez. Morons.

We should start our own entertainment magazine/site, where only people who really know their subject are allowed to write reviews. *vbg*
