Amber Tamblyn Quote of the Day

I don't know why this makes me giggle, but it does. She's just so cute. From TV Zone Special #53, about her father (Russ Tamblyn- I had a crush on him for years, for all that he looked like Howdy Doody when he was young):

"He used to try to teach me how to do backbends and flips, but I couldn't do it. But I love my dad's performances. I had a hard time when I was younger watching his performance as Riff in West Side Story, because he gets stabbed. I used to beg him to watch it, and I'd sing along and everything, and then when he'd get stabbed I'd start screaming in hysterics, and he'd have to run in and say, 'It's not real, I'm right here. It's okay!'"

How better to ring in the new year than by watching Icelandic beer commercials? These remind me a lot of some Canadian beer commercials, actually. Same sort of feel. Anyway, they're funny stuff (links nicked from Adda).
