Imagine, if you will, a woman merrily typing away at her computer.

Joan: "La la la type type type... Hey, this isn't going too badly..."

Computer: "Mwa ha ha!" It crashes. Emphatically.

stunned silence from the woman...time passes

Joan: "Well. Huh. How 'bout that. All gone. Probably should have been saving more often, too. Heck with it, I'm going to watch TV."

So, no Beowulf-babble today. Though in happier news, Eddie Izzard never gets any less funny, no matter how many times one has seen a particular show. "Emperor Fabulous and his son, Fabulous the Second"? Marry me, Eddie.

Quote of the Day

Disclaimer- I'm not that fond of kids in the abstract. But my friends' kids, whether I've met them or not, and certain individual children of my acquaintance get a pass.

Anyway, from Izzle pfaff!: "For years I ate these noxious things, until one day I hit upon the brilliant idea of peanut butter and chocolate chip sandwiches. Further proof that children are horrible, freakish little goblins who should be bound in shrink-wrap and kept immobile until the age of eighteen."
