One of MGM's upcoming releases, nicked from (I'm not linking because Davis is a pain, and MGM's official site is even more so):

Also due on July 12th is Bill & Ted's Most Excellent Collection, a three-disc box set featuring the already-available first two films, along with a bonus disc featuring "The Most Triumphant Making-Of" documentary, "The Original Bill & Ted: In Conversation with Chris & Ed," "Score! An Interview With Guitarist Steve Vai," Air Guitar Tutorial with Bjorn Toroque & The Rockness Monster, "The Hysterical Personages of Bill & Ted (in 3 Minutes or Less)," "One Sweet and Sour Chinese Adventure To Go," radio spots and a copy of "Bill and Ted's Excellent Comic Book." Retail is $39.96.

Yaaaay! I mean, you know me and Bill and Ted; this is a no-brainer. Sure, I already own both movies (in a couple of formats), but that's what eBay is for, right? And the extras sound like such goofy fun! An air guitar tutorial? Ha! Yep, a definite must-have.

The rest of MGM's releases for the 12th don't interest me, with one exception. The blurb:

Due on July 12th are The Garbage Pail Kids Movie, Hercules/Hercules II (double feature), Illegally Yours, George Hamilton's Dracula spoof Love at First Bite, The Magic Sword, National Lampoon's Class Reunion, National Lampoon's Movie Madness, Sinbad of the Seven Seas, Teen Witch, The Party Animal and Weekend at Bernie's.

Heeee, Teen Witch! Robyn Lively in her terrifying outfits! Songs that burrow themselves into your brain and never, ever leave! The "Popular Girl" montage, hee, the most '80's montage in the history of film! Oh yes, you shall be mine, Teen Witch. And it even came out the same year as Excellent Adventure. Yay, 1989!

(Okay, I'll admit I'm also a little interested in Illegally Yours, a deranged comedy about jury duty, murder, Canadians and baby Rob Lowe, but I can live with just renting that one. Pretty sure I can, anyway.)

All righty, my next post will not be about what DVDs are coming out, 'cause this is getting ridiculous.
